March 2022
A First Scania
We are happy to have our first Scania join the fleet with this new R620 eight wheeler truck and 5 axle trailer now on the road operating mainly in the upper North Island
2nd DAF arrives
A recent replacement in the tipper fleet has taken place with our first Euro6 DAF hitting the road. Coupled to a Transfleet 4 axle trailer, it will be a regular site on the roads around the Auckland region
Muriwai Sandstone Quarry
We are excited to announce that in conjunction with The Bears Home Company the Muriwai Sandstone pit is open and Run of Pit Sandstone as well as Milled sandstone is now available.
Loading is by appointment only and you will need to contact us at the office to pre order product to ensure availability. All payments will need to be made to Yelavich Transport Ltd via invoice
October 2020
With 2020 fast coming to a close there are many who are happy to see the year come to an end and are looking for 2021 to end the Covid challenges.
To help us on our way forward we recently added a new arctic trailer to the fleet as a replacement for the much older trailer. It fits in nicely and looks great with our updated imaging along the side

While we would like to say its been business as usual we have all had to adjust to a new normal after the introduction of Covid 19 to our lives. 2020 is throwing up many challenges and we thank our customers for their support and loyalty over recent months. We look forward to some positivity in the future for everyone
After completing our annual appraisal Yelavich Transport Ltd has again achieved Sitewise Green status for 2020-2021 This appraisal grades our Health and Safety capabilities and gives us feedback and guidance with keeping up to date with industry regulations

Covid 19 Update

After the recent Lockdown due to the world pandemic Covid19, we are pleased to announce that Yelavich Transport Ltd is back to work as of 28 April.

New DAF 510 added to fleet
November 2019
Logan Yelavich is finding his days a lot more comfortable after the recent arrival of a new 510 hp DAF truck and 4 axle Transfleet trailer. Logan pilots the new addition to the fleet around the greater Auckland region.
The truck and trailer unit is the first in the company to have branding on the alloy bins as well as a little bit of family heritage added to the paint work on the cab.
Those in the know will notice the Croatian red and white checkers behind the door as well as the Croatian Rugby Union emblem around the fleet number 15 on the corner panels.
Nik at Kinghorn Signs provided the art work to make the unit stand out on the hi-way.

Yelavich Transport Ltd recently achieved SITEWISE green status after undergoing their latest appraisal. With compliance and Health and Safety requirements in our industry continually being monitored and upgraded Sitewise is an ideal way to stay up to date with regulations.
SiteWise is a pre qualification system that grades a contractor’s health and safety capability and publishes that grade in a database that can be viewed by main contractor’s and principal organisations. This allows for better contractor selection and an easier tendering process for everyone involved.

70 Years in Business for Bob Yelavich
October 2017
Bob Yelavich celebrated 70 years in business on 7th October 2017. A small gathering was held to mark the occasion at the Yelavich depot attended by past and present staff of both Yelavich Brothers Ltd and Yelavich Transport Ltd. A evening of laughs and old stories were shared by family, friends, work colleagues and follow contractors with whom Bob has worked alongside over the years. Bob continues to man the office and phone and is happy to give advice as well as dispatch the trucks and price jobs as required.
